These frameworks are powerful precisely because they can read your email, run code, and manage files. That same power makes a careless deployment dangerous. In early 2026, security researchers found tens of thousands of self-hosted agent instances exposed to the public internet, thousands of them vulnerable to remote code execution, and independent audits flagged a significant share of community-published agent skills as malicious.
None of this means self-hosting is a bad idea. It means the installation defaults are not enough, and the gap between “it runs” and “it’s safe” is where we come in. Every deployment we ship includes network isolation, sandboxed execution, encrypted secrets, and an approval rule: your agent never sends an email or message on your behalf without your explicit sign-off.
